The University of Madras or Madras University was established on 1857 as a public state university. The University is located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The University is one of the oldest and premier universities in India. The University was incorporated by an act of the Legislative Council of India. The University offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in various fields. For providing better education the University has various departments which offers UG and PG courses. The University conducts written examination according to semester format and annual format. The annual examination conducts by the department in the month of march to may and conducts semester examination twice in a same year. This year also the University has been conducted the semester examination. Now the University will soon announced the MADRAS UNIVERSITY RESULT 2016 on its official website.
