The Periyar University was came into existence on 17th September 1997 as per the provisions of the Periyar University Act by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The University is named after a social reformer Thanthai Periyar E. V. Ramasamy. The University is located at Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various faculties like Mass Communication, Tourism and Indian Monuments, Electronic Science, Computer Science, Marine Science, Military Science. Every year a large number of candidates appeared in the written examination. This year also many students are enrolled with the University and also appeared in the written examination. The University conducts summer and winter written examination every year. This year also the University has been conducted the Exam 2016 and now the University will announced the Periyar University Results 2016 on ts official website.
