The Delhi Police was founded on 1861 as the main law and order agency for the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). The Headquarters of the department is located at Intrastate Estate, New Delhi, India. The jurisdiction of the department is over the adjoining areas of the National Capital Region. The department works under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India. Every year the department needs for young and talented candidates in various branches. Similar to every year this year also the department has been announced the notification for recruitment of Constable, Ministerial Cadre, Sub-Inspector and Assistant Commissioner of Police. Only those candidates can apply under this recruitment process which candidates are fully eligible for the posts. There selection of the candidates are fully based on the Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test, Written Examination, Medical Test and Viva-Voce Test.
